PORTO MARVILHA HOTEL

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Porto Maravilha Hotel is designed to maximize the views from the rooms of the developing port area of Rio de Janeiro. The teak wooden interiors complement the white stuccoed exterior. The proportions of the hotel are that of the square and the golden section, seperated by the four core towers by the sides and open area levels in between.
Designed for Professor Jose Gelabert-Navia's studio course at the University of Miami.
