The Panama Canal Experience: Miraflores is a place for semester at sea students, road trippers, as well as researchers. The structure becomes one with the canal by using hydro-powered turbines as well as combining into the canal system itself. The design of the tower is inspired by that of the water molecule, celebrating the feat of engineering the canal represents. The rotating floors of the tower enable 360 degree views of the canal activity while the restaurant/club allows for views over the canal.
